Game Mechanics

Space Misfits is a sandbox MMO space exploration game in the genre of blockchain games. You play as a spaceship pilot sent to explore new worlds. You must collect resources, trade goods, and fight against pirates where you aim to become the most powerful player in its ecosystem to earn cryptocurrency.

You can buy ships, weapons, and equipment, and you can alter the look of your ship by modifying its various elements. New features and enhancements can be obtained as the game progresses.

The game uses blockchain technology, allowing you to exchange items easily. All transactions occur on the Ethereum (ETH) network, and each item is registered in the Enjin wallet.

Space Misfit’s current concept centers on the following gameplay mechanics, which are space fighting and dodge fighting, NPC Hunting (PvE), Player vs. Player (PvP), mining minerals, First Person Shooter (FPS) mode, etc. Each gameplay adds a new spin and challenge to the crypto game.

The game is built around two currencies: SMCW and BITS.

CROWN ($SMCW)

Aside from being a premium in-game currency, CROWN will also be utilized as a token for voting and governing. Players can trade and sell Blueprint-based objects they’ve created in-game for CROWN in a player-to-player marketplace.

Since it is an ERC-20 token, CROWN can be traded on any blockchain compatible with the EVM. Participants in the CROWN stake will have an ultimate say over the Space Misfits DAO.

BITS

BITS are not real money and may only be used within the game. Spaceships, weaponry, and clones can all be made with this versatile material. In-game maintenance and resupply are also possible with this method.

BITS can only be obtained by playing the game and can be exchanged for SMCW via the in-game market.

The in-game currency BITS can be obtained by completing missions, farming NPCs, and leveling up. Staking CROWN tokens in-game is another method for users to obtain BITS.

FTs such as ownership of a space station, planet outpost, or virtual company share can be stored in your ENJIN wallet and freely traded on the ENJIN marketplace, where BITS have the highest potential for in-game earnings.

BITS also includes a gambling component, wherein players can win BITS tokens. The King’s Vault accepts it as payment for rare collectible skins and blueprints. These are all ENJIN-backed FTs that can be traded on exchanges.

CROWN: CROWN can profit the most from player transactions. Except for BITS, everything in the game may be purchased and sold for CROWN in the p2p marketplace. There is a 5% fee on all marketplace transactions that go straight into the general fund.

Various minerals and unique crafting materials, among many more, are only some of the dozens of resources that can be acquired in-game.
