Masayato Games created Anito Legends which is a strategic auto-battler powered by BSC. The team has been making mobile games in the hyper-casual area for years. They have experience in the field, as evidenced by several of their Android and iOS have amassed trends and over 50 million downloads by “Pinoys” and global audiences.

Developed by a team of Filipino veterans with a combined 20 years of experience in mobile game design, the NFT game hooks players with in-depth strategy and preparation before they send out their team of non-player-controlled creatures (NFTs) called “Anitos” or spirits to conquer towers (PVE) and battle other players in the arena (PVP).

Most of the team is based in the Philippines, and they have previously gained notice for various social experiments, including Vote Clicker.

James Chua serves as Chief Executive Officer. Together with Jed Cruz, he created Pixelkit Inc and Popsicle Games, and the duo have over a decade of expertise in the mobile gaming industry. With over 15 years of expertise in traditional and digital media, Jayvee Fernandez served as Chief Marketing Officer at The Manila Bulletin from 2013 to 2021 and was instrumental in launching the Hinge-Inquirer Publications blog network in the mid-2000s.

Game Mechanics

To participate in the game, customers must first acquire NFT assets.

Gamers must have at least 3 Anitos to enter the game. They are open for public sale in the Anito Legends Market. Your gacha boxes will be hidden until you select the Inventory tab in the marketplace browser after you’ve connected your Metamask wallet and made your purchases.

The next step is for players to download the game to their device of choice. The closed beta version of Anito Legends is available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

Cloud Save and PVP help the development team ensure everything runs smoothly and securely behind the scenes. Therefore, they were made available to beta testers before the Anito Legends’ early access. This makes for a more streamlined and hassle-free gaming experience for the community.

The start of the Anito Legends roadmap includes the NFT sale, early access launch, content creator codes, P&E + summoning/breeding, and an Automated scholarship system.

Adventure Mode (Tower Mode)

When playing in Adventure Mode, you’ll engage in roguelike-style gameplay. With only one life at their disposal, a team of three Anitos must scale as many towers as possible.

If a team is eliminated, they will be teleported back to the main lobby. Each tower does offer some temporary relief, though, as Anitos can use campfires to tend to wounded allies and bring the dead back to life.

When you defeat the final monster, you’ll receive valuable items, such as the materials needed to make Legendary-level weapons, armor, or even a Charm.

The game has four classes: Tikbalangs, Sarangays, Kiwigs, and Siyokoys.

Arena Mode (PvP)

You can use your arena tickets to compete against other player-controlled Anito teams in the game’s Arena Mode. All battles are resolved asynchronously, and each player can set two teams, one to attack and one to defend.

The player can use their creativity to combine different pieces of equipment to compensate for any weak points in their Anito stats and amplify any strong points. Legendary gear’s unique abilities open up new areas of play.

Gear has a weight class to help maintain a sense of equilibrium between its strength and portability, benefiting the player by granting them priority movement during combat. A heavy-geared Anito is the slowest of the bunch.

Every Anito class has weaknesses or strengths against the others, making for more nuanced and strategic gameplay.

Gacha Box

To put together an Anito team, BUSD can be used to purchase Gacha boxes from the Anito Legends Marketplace. The characteristics of Anitos obtained from Gacha boxes are completely random.

Tokens for the Genesis Anito can be purchased in the Anito Legends store and other soon-to-be-released Anito NFT items. Common, Epic, and Legendary are the three levels of NFTs available for public sale in their marketplace.

These Anitos are sold in Gacha-style boxes and come in four different classifications. “Ang Sina Una” means “The First Ones,” and refers to the first batch of 10,000 Anitos.

The Genesis Glow feature makes them stand out visually.

Anito Legends Tokenomics

In-game items like clothes, weapons, and accessories are all represented as $GINTO and $LARO tokens.

$LARO Tokens

The Anito Legends Marketplace accepts $LARO, the governance token, for purchases and sales. According to their roadmap, TGE and IDO will soon have new updates available.

Since $LARO is the game’s governance token, it gives its holders the ability to vote on and campaign for changes to the PVP meta, as well as other perks, such as the ability to call fresh Anitos to join the fight for Lupa.

Laro is used for summoning, special tower access, Arena mode governance, battle pass access, and in-house marketplace.

$GINTO Tokens

Anito Legends’ prize cryptocurrency token is called $GINTO. Using these as rewards in single-player and multiplayer game modes is common practice.

Tokens with the $GINTO can be “burned” in-game. For example, you can use this token to auto-farm dungeon rewards, enter special dungeons and tournaments for unique rewards, and construct high-tier weapons and equipment.

There will be a dynamic in-game exchange rate for Pearls to $GINTO.

Play-to-earn with Anito Legends

Anito Legends has introduced a feature called Play To Earn, which allows players to earn both LARO and GINTO via gameplay.

This feature encourages people to actively play crypto games like Anito Legends rather than just waiting for rewards. Players can receive $LARO upon purchasing Anitos or premium items and $GINTO upon completing daily quests.

The amount of $LARO and $GINTO you earn depends on how much you play. For example, if you play 30 minutes daily, you earn 0.5 $LARO every hour. If you play 60 minutes daily, you’ll earn 1$ LARO every half hour.

Adventure mode: The primary PVE objective in Anito Legends is the towers’ destruction. Players who complete the tower run successfully are rewarded with loot that may be used to upgrade their existing gear or exchanged for the game’s premium currency.

Arena Mode: Battles between players’ Anito teams for high-stakes awards are a great way for players to put their teams to the test. The top players are recognized each season and given seasonal incentives based on their standing on the leaderboard.
