Game Mechanics

Payment

$GOG is the major currency in the Guild of Guardians universe. Only GOG can mint new NFTs, and only GOG may be used to buy and sell NFTs on the NFT marketplace.

To mint gaming NFTs, Gems are necessary. As more NFTs are minted, the Gem cost of minting a specific NFT will increase, promoting the early use of Gems and functioning as a mechanism to limit the supply of assets and prevent a market glut.

Governance

Through decentralized governance, token holders will have a vote in important game choices and token-related initiatives.

Active Guild of Guardians players will receive daily game economics updates. This may require fulfilling certain advancement milestones, daily quests, or other game activities.

Leaderboard Prizes

There will be competition amongst guilds for leaderboard prizes. These will most likely be updated at the beginning of each season to better reward the most competitive players. Furthermore, there may be different levels of achievement for different levels of achievement.
