Town Star Game Review
Town Star is a browser-based MMORPG developed by Gala Games, one of Japan’s most successful indie studios, built under the Ethereum blockchain. In Town Star, you play a hero whose destiny lies within a world filled with monsters, magic, and mystery.
Eric Schiermeyer, the man behind the development and launch of FarmVille’s most successful game, Town Hall, worked on the social media game Town Star. He worked on a mobile game where players were given tasks to complete while building up their town. He is also the developer of the popular Facebook game FarmVille 2 and one of the founders of Zynga.
You are given a chance to explore the vast lands of the planet and discover what happened to it. To do this, you must team up with others to fight against enemies while gaining experience points along the way.
To become stronger, you must train yourself to improve your skills. As you progress, you will meet and make friends with different people. You can even befriend monsters such as dragons and demons. With each friend you gain, you will receive special rewards.
In addition to the main story mode, many side quests are scattered around the map. Some of them require you to complete tasks like defeating enemies or finding rare items. Others involve helping out NPCs.
The game is compatible with iOS and Android devices, desktop computers, and Macs.
Game Mechanics
Town star is a simple strategy game where you are tasked with building a town from scratch. The objective is to maximize earnings while keeping employees content by allocating scarce resources. You do this by placing structures and hiring people to work on them; progressing through infancy is an enjoyable and fruitful experience.
Farmers must locate water sources, transport them to the crops, and find lumberjacks to cut down trees for use as building material. Because of this, you can construct other farms and hire more people to work the fields.
This crypto game is easy to understand. With experience, which you’ll get by continuously playing, you will soon install windmills to increase water production rates, prepare your land for livestock, and many more.
As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock additional plots of land. These offer different resource types, including farmland, forest, pastureland, swamps, rivers, lakes, mines, and quarries.
Weekly Competition
Town Star is the ultimate city-building game metaverse, with players worldwide competing for supremacy.
Town Star has been focused on a weekly competition where players fight for position on the leaderboard for a part of the $GALA prize pool.
Town Star NFT In-game Assets
Town Star is a free-to-play blockchain game where players build their towns, trade goods, and make friends. In addition to the standard gameplay elements, there are several ways to customize your town beyond what the starter set offers.
One way is through collectible digital assets called “NFTs.” These include houses, decorations, furniture, tools, and even vehicles. You can buy them directly from the developer or secondary markets like OpenSea.
In the Town Star, NFTs will be valuable assistants facilitating players. They will make life easier by providing useful items and helping players complete tasks.
The Town Star NFT was introduced with three types of bots: Autobot, Bot, and Elfbot. These bots will provide players with assistance in their daily lives.
Autobots will replace Town Star Builder House with increased movement speed, while Elfbots will help farmers and harvesters harvest crops. Resource Strand NFTs will be added to ensure that crops are delivered consistently throughout the game.
Extra Storage NFTs will help players store precious resources. For example, there will be NFTs that store grapes with different rarity levels. There will also be NFTs that hold sugarcane.
A season pass was required during its Beta phase. You’ll need it to have the right to place NFTs.
Gala Games
Town Star play is available on the GALA website. After creating a GALA games account and linking your wallet, you may access Town Star immediately by clicking the Games tab.
Gala Games is a comprehensive gaming platform that offers various titles for new players or veterans of all tastes. Considering it was the company’s initial game and is still regularly updated with new features, Town Star holds a unique role in the Gala Games ecosystem.
Town Star Tokenomics
Town Coin (TOWN), a blockchain-based ERC20 in-game currency, is designed to incentivize players to play the game.
Town Coin’s ultimate goal is to create a platform where gamers may earn rewards simply for engaging in the game. Players earn Town Coins by completing daily challenges within the game, including leveling up, exploring dungeons, collecting in-game items, etc. These coins can then be used to purchase premium features within the games.
In addition to earning Town tokens, players can use Town Coins to play games on the Town Coin Games Network. There are over 50 games on the network, ranging from classic board games like chess to video games like Farming Simulator 19.
Players can also exchange Town Coins for real-world currencies. This enables players to spend their Town Coins on the network’s products and services third-party merchants offer.
GALA
The GALA coin is under ETH blockchain technology. You can earn GALA coins while playing the game. These are used to purchase items within the game.
You can use them to unlock special features and cryptocurrency rewards. They can also be exchanged for real-world cash.
Play-to-earn with Town Star
Town Star is an NFT game where players can build their town with houses, shops, and farms. But while it looks like Minecraft, there’s something different about it.
In both games, players start with nothing. They must gather resources and craft furniture, tools, and clothing. To do this, they must mine coal, iron ore, and wood, and harvest crops, including wheat, corn, potatoes, and carrots.
TownStar uses a system called “play-to-earn.” Instead of earning money by selling items, players use a currency called Towncoin to buy items from each other. This gives players a reason to keep playing because they want to collect coins and spend them on items.
But what makes this unique is that players aren’t just buying stuff; they’re paying for the privilege of doing so. Players receive Towncoins for placing Non-fungible tokens into their worlds. These include buildings, decorations, and even pets.
The more NFTs you place, the more Towncoins you earn. However, you’re limited by how much power you have. There’s no cap on how many NFTs a player can place, but the amount of power you have is determined by how many GALA tokens and TownCoins you have.
Gala Power is gained by staking GALA tokens, which can be bought directly or mined. When you stake your GALA tokens, you become eligible to earn Towncoin for every NFT you place.
