My DeFi Pet Game Review

My DeFi Pet is a unique take on the virtual pet game, fusing DeFi with collectibles and a player’s sense of style. In May of 2021, the game was published on KardiaChain, the first distributed, interoperable blockchain network in Vietnam and South East Asia. It’s a GameFi system with dual networks.

This NFT game was developed in collaboration with the Vietnamese firm TopeBox. Two of their crypto games, Sky Dancer and Thief Rivals, became global trends and sold millions of copies.

The game’s name incorporates the three defining aspects: “My” for customizability, “DeFi” or Decentralized Finance for fully integrated features, and “Pet” for a virtual pet-raising game simulation.

Since it is a browser game, there is no need to download anything before playing it; all the information you need can be found on the official website. A mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms is in the works.

Game Mechanics

Collecting, breeding, evolving, fighting, and trading pets are all fun things to do in this game. Moreover, my DeFi Pet’s gameplay separates the game’s development into “Seasons,” and players need at least one existing pet to participate in the game.

Collect

Summoning and auctioning are the two basic methods of collecting pets. Players are rewarded with a random egg by using up a quantity of DPET tokens. An auction is held each hour a new pet is born, and the bidding process lasts 24 hours. After the bidding time has ended, any unclaimed pets will stay on the Altar for future use.

Breed

In My DeFi Pet, pets may be bred much as in the real world. Breeding two pets gives the baby a chance to acquire characteristics from one or both parents, such as body type, tail length, and wing count, or it might give birth to an entirely new feature that neither parent contributed due to recessive genes.

Evolve

Depending on how uncommon it is, each pet has its own set of skills and stages of growth. Giving a pet DPET tokens allows players to raise their pet’s level.

World Boss and Arena (PVP)

Players can team up with other players to hunt down World Boss for in-game rewards. While on Arena, players will be competing against other players from across the world for seasonal rewards.

My DeFi Pet Tokenomics

The DPET token is the primary in-game token in My DeFi Pet and is a non-refundable functional utility token. Fertile eggs can’t be hatched or developed without these tokens.

DPET tokens can also be used to enter private events and increase every player’s in-game power and experience.

The DPET token is used in My DeFi Pet to incentivize users to participate in the ecosystem’s upkeep and development. Players are expected to contribute to the platform by performing actions or offering useful services to other users.

Users of My DeFi Pet and holders of DPET tokens who did not engage actively on quests would not receive DPET token rewards. The mechanics of this blockchain game are designed to motivate and reward active participation.

Players may have a say in developing future content and get rewards for participation through the governance system. Players can increase their voting power and chances of winning by locking DPET tokens.

All DPET tokens and NFT tokens may be obtained, traded, and exchanged in the inter-blockchain ecosystem using Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Kardia Chain.

KardiaChain’s decentralization and interoperability might make the game available on networks other than its own, such as Ethereum and Polkadot.

Play-to-Earn with My DeFi Pet

The play-to-earn game of My DeFi Pet includes economic elements such as ranking, trade, and social features. To participate, gamers must have a Binance Smart Chain or KardiaChain wallet, a MetaMask, a DPET token, and BNB coins.

Once you have collected a sufficient number of DPET tokens, you may exchange them for PancakeSwap or other cryptocurrencies.

If you have a high-level or rare pet, you can find buyers at an auction to make a fortune. Your pets can also travel to far-off locations for resources and prizes.

Earning Seasonal rewards can be a challenging process. The first season’s smart contract has a USD 100,000 prize price fixed for DPET teams. The minimum criterion for that team is now set at ten legendary pets at the highest level possible, as detailed in the My DeFi Pet website’s Whitepaper.

If you want a piece of the prize money, you’ll need to put out your best effort to fulfill the high stakes.

Everyone benefits from this arrangement since it financially compensates those who work to maintain ecological balance. Users will be rewarded with DPET tokens and other random advantages for adopting, breeding, trading, and evolving pets inside the game. Due to this, the ecosystem will expand, allowing more individuals to participate.
